Changelog

What has shipped.

Auralis is on version 13. The number goes up by one with every change, newest first.

  1. v13

Buttons are easier to hit on a phone, and the DailyOS mark is right

    • Small controls were 32px tall — comfortable with a mouse, awkward with a finger. On touch devices everything now has at least a 44px hit area, grown invisibly so nothing looks different.
    • The DailyOS entry uses its real mark: the sync loop with a tick.
  2. v12

Auralis can now run on Cloudflare as well as Vercel

    • All cryptography moved to WebCrypto, so nothing in Auralis depends on a Node-only API any more.
    • The database layer uses Cloudflare Hyperdrive when running on Workers, and the ordinary connection everywhere else.
    • Cloudflare cron runs the sync queue every minute rather than once a day.
  3. v11

Auralis no longer depends on any one hosting platform

    • Encryption and password hashing moved to WebCrypto, which every modern runtime has. Auralis can now run on Node, Cloudflare Workers or Deno without changing a line.
    • Passwords use PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations, and the iteration count is stored with each hash so it can be raised later without locking anyone out.
  4. v10

Connection strings with awkward passwords now just work

    • A database password containing @ : / ? or # made the whole connection string unparseable, and sign-up failed. Auralis now percent-encodes it rather than asking you to.
    • A leftover [YOUR-PASSWORD] placeholder is deliberately not repaired, so the error still says what is actually wrong.
  5. v9

Auralis is installable, and the mark matches the real artwork

    • Install it from the browser like any app. It keeps working offline enough to explain itself, and never shows you stale sync state.
    • The logo is drawn as SVG, so the app icon, the favicon and the mark in the interface are all the same artwork.
    • Service marks replace the lettered chips, and the header now credits DailyOS.
    • A new /api/health page reports why a deployment is misconfigured, without revealing how it is configured.
  6. v8

Added a version number and this changelog

    • The version is derived from this list rather than stored separately, so it always matches what shipped.
    • Shown in the site footer and in Settings, and linked to the full history.
  7. v7

Adopted the Auralis logo, and fixed sign-up on pooled databases

    • Sign-up failed against Supabase's transaction pooler, because Prisma re-uses prepared statement names and the pooler hands out a different connection per statement. Auralis now detects a pooled connection and configures itself, rather than expecting the connection string to be hand-edited.
    • The mark is drawn as SVG so it stays sharp at any size; the palette moved from green to the brand blue.
  8. v6

Added a one-paste SQL setup script for hosted databases

    • Creates every table, index and foreign key and inserts the plan rows. Safe to run twice.
  9. v5

Moved deployment to Vercel's Git integration

  10. v4

Readable errors when the database is unreachable

    • A deployment without a database answered a submitted form with a raw application error. It now says what is actually wrong.
  11. v3

Reworked the visual design around one typographic system

  12. v2

Added Settings, the canonical record editor, and deployment docs

  13. v1

First release: connections, syncs, conflicts, rules and activity

    • Eleven integrations behind one interface, a hub-and-spoke sync engine with per-field conflict detection, and a background job queue with retries.
